the reason this bothers me so much is because, being a Simpson fan since i was only a wee lad, the show was in its prime from season 3 to season 6. after that, it went to the toilets. matt groening decided to go with futurama, james earl brooks had other ideas, and some new asshole producer drove it to the gutter with his employing of dead end, tasteless writers. oh yeah, and Conan got his own late show.
if anyone here is thinking of buying any Simpsons seasons, do yourself a favor and stick to 3 - 6.
