Livewarehouse.com has WC3 on sale for 27.99 on their site. Today i went to my local BestBuy (WC3 for 59.99) and asked if they would pricematch an online store, the CSR called and asked his manager and they said they would PM if i would print out the page.
So after the 110% PM @ BB

59.99 - [(59.99-27.99)*110%] = 24.79 <--- Dirt for this game

I have every intention on doing this legit but i began to think...what is stopping me from saving the page from livewarehouse ... opening up
Frontpage and change the price and print that out .... nothing major ... like 22.99, 21.99, 20.99 ??? Just an idea!

i also am looking for a site similar to CDNOW.com with better selection and prices ... if anyone knows please email me!

Good deal! I wouldn't go as far as opening up front page etc though to change the price different from 27.99 because 1) it's fraud and 2) most BB's I've been to actually call to verify pricing and stock 3) If BB finds out that you changed the price intentionally, they can hold you and call the cops

But nonetheless, good deal at 27.99! Maybe go pricematch over at staples and since some staples accept the office depot $20 off $50 coupon you can get about $20 worth of stuff free But some staples gripe about doing a PM and using a coupon.

Good deal, but this is exactlly why hardly any retailers will do pricematches. Anyone could make up their own site and sell Warcraft for $1.00 or however cheap they want. $25 is still a good deal, but I would never try editing the html from another site to save a couple of bucks.

About the fraud. One thing is finding loopholes or taking advantage of a companies pricing policy by using price matches, rebates, coupons, etc.. And the other is fraud. There is a huge difference between the two. Changing the price is simply stealing.

You are lucky to be able to have your BB PM to an online store. I have CDW right down the road from my BB and they wouldn't PM something to CDW because they said that they were a warehouse and online store, even though their B&M retail showroom was less than a mile away.

Tried BB, they would not do it, as it states on their policy they do not match Internet deals - how did you guys do it? Maybe WalMart will do it?
