Ok... that was obviously put in techbargains.com for price matching. That it is. They even said they expect a typo or not so legit business.

I would venture to guess that this is most likely a pricing error. I hit pricegrabber where einsteinpc is listed and they came back with $312 as their price. Please note that they are going to two different products on their site with the same manufacturer part numbers.

May be a waste of time. . .

The thread at Phatwallet suggests that there are multiple items available for $61. A lawyer's even threatening to file a suit against them since they've sent confirmation e-mails. That seems bunk to me, considering that automatic confirmation e-mails are hardly a contract. But hey, maybe there's a reason why I'm not an attorney.

login was your email and a password, you didnt have to register.

Holy crap, I thought that the fact that the domain name had only been around for about 3 months was fishy, but get this.... I think I just figured out why the site is so slow....

...it seems to resolve to a pacbell adsl acct.

I don't want to yell fire in a theater, and this could be a legitmate business dsl account, but........

If you do a search for the Maxtor model number (4G160J8), it shows up as $312 (or the 20pk for $5,369) and the $61 item doesn't come up at all. Additionally the $312 link goes to a different page than the $61 one (meaning that it's not just like the $61 page has a typing error on it while being linked from a $312 search result)
