I had seen that one a few weeks ago, but with shipping, it's about $16 more. Honestly, I don't think you'll be very happy with the x650, as the differences are very minor.

haha, i hope you mean do think!

i'm lucky enough to have a MC a few miles away so I would have gotten it had I known. either one will be a nice step up from my antec..really looking forward to modular cables.

Yeah, that's what I meant!

Well, with a MC a few miles away, just being able to carry that Seasonic box home might be worth extra cost. But the x650 is plenty good!

Just added 750w model for $130.

Must resist....... Debating send my second 650 back to buy the 750 just not sure how much restocking may be xD. Any idea on the expiration of the coupon for the 750?

*Edit* I wonder if they will put a sale on their 850w model. Although they don't have a new 860 or something, maybe they didn't change the 850w.

Well, if you need the power, the 750w could be tempting, but otherwise, I'd stick with the 650w...as an added bonus, it's slightly more efficient, particularly at low wattage/idle. The x750 coupon I posted expires on 10/6/11.

As for the 850w, I've never seen that one go on sale. At over $200, I think you'd only want to go in that direction if you had a serious case for needing the extra headroom: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151102

Thanks for the all the info Termie!

I decided to pickup the x750 because I wanted to SLI 470s, and although I have a lot of faith in my x650, I'd rather give it a little breathing room on the x750. I'm pretty sure i'll be able to swap the cables onto the new PSU without having to do anything other than unplug them from the x650 and then plug em into the x750 since both PSUs seem nearly identical.
Now just need to decide if return my second x650 to newegg with restock fee and get $94, keep it as a backup just in case, or sell on here XD for about the same for some heat lol.

For SLI 470s, I'd definitely say 750w is a safer bet. And yes, I'm sure you can just drop the 750 into the case in place of the 650 and use the same plugs. But now you'll have two x650s sitting around. Hmmm...I think you should probably just send one back, or try to sell it (if you can get the same amount.

Can you post a link? I can't find that price on NE.

Sorry about that - MarkLuvs had it right.
