smoking weed with children/parents...

just curious, from my previous post, i got a little curious.


i recreationally smoke here and there, not like when i was in college though.

i see nothing wrong in it and if my son/daughter was responsible enough would smoke with them.

but my parents is another subject, even they know i use to/still do smoke.

I would never smoke with my parents. Too strange. Same with the kids that I may have. I don't want to smoke with them.

I don't think I would smoke with my children. I don't really smoke now, and I'm still in college. That stuff makes me too damn unproductive.

I'd never smoke it with them, though, and they'd never smoke it with me.

it used to piss me off as a kid. so many outlets of teenage rebellion were taken from me because my parents had embraced them for themselves. lol.

and i have a friend and her and her step dad smoke... i smoked with them a lot

theres really nothing wrong with smoking with somebody way older then you, they just also happen to have a kid, who also smokes, and is your friend

Ignore people who tell you to grow up. I used to be like that too, until I tried smoking and loved it. Unfortunately, I can't smoke and get sh|t done in life, so I had to quit. But if you can handle it, go for it. I know plenty of people who smoke multiple times a day and are some of the smartest people I've met.

it is kind of weird, but not absurd.

i am Persian (or Iranian) and I know a great number of people who have or still do smoke weed with their parents.

I don't smoke (weed or otherwise), so I probably won't hit this situation. That said, if other people want to smoke, more power to 'em. Pot may not be the greatest thing in the world, but if it's the worst thing you do, you're still in pretty good shape, IMO. My old girlfriend smokes once in a while, and has a bunch of friends who partake on a more regular basis - doesn't seem to effect any of them much. I'm not sure what I'd do if I ever found my (future) kids smoking it, but I can gaurantee you it won't be like the "talk to your kids" commercials on TV where the parents are having a holy fit . I would talk to them, sure. But I doubt I'd get that riled about it.

I have smoked with my dad at an Ozzfest concert in 97. It was too wierd and I would never do it again. We have never talked about it again...but then again we don't talk to much anyway.

i dont smoke it anymore, but my dad still does religiously. he has ever since high school. but if i did take it up again, yeah, i could easily imagine smoking with him. probably will never see that day though.

heh, one time I was rooting around my parents drawer (you know...snooping like early teens do) and came a cross a big bag of weed.

I called them on it a few years later and they gave me the old "Well we were just experimenting, we didn't feel anything"

I then told them they had some bunk weed and that I've heard that excuse before.

And when my mom was going through chemotherapy I would have given my left arm to get her some smoke.

So in a way, yes and no.

I smoke, my parents never would though. I'd smoke with my children if they were old enough and able to do so responsibly.

no one says it makes you stupid. It just makes you unproductive. What's the point of being smart if you can't get good grades or find a job?

i smoke with my friends parents, but i dont know if i could ever smoke with mine. well definitely not my dad. i drink with my mom though and thats still kinda awkward.
