do you also think that i have to go for the new nvidia drivers 84.20??i am asking because there are no msi official 84.20 drivers so i won't be able to activate the D.O.T from msi software. on the other hand i could overclock my card manually with nvidia software. any suggestions about clock and memory speed??

Try disabling one of the cores (should be an option in the BIOS) and game on a single core. The extra core doesn't do you any good when playing NFS anyway. There is a known issue with many games stuttering when using dual core systems.

Yes, you need to install all the drivers for the motherboard, especially the chipset before installing the video card drivers.

After a big of tweaking my system, i can run at 1920x1200 at over 40fps with all details turned up full (but no AA) at around 50fps (dipping to 40 every now and then, but going as high as 70 at times).

It does stutter every now and then (As does the 360 version) but the sound doesent go, just the graphics, but fraps never reports it as a low framerate (Still over 40).

fresh windows installation, 84.25 video drivers were installed last but unfortunately nothing happened. my average fps were 35 and 45 in 1280*1024 and 1024*768(high quality settings and vsync disabled). do u think of a faulty component or i'll have to live with that?anyway i think that i'm gonna unistall this ****** game. thanks for your help!!
