Updated: Ok decided to download SMP client, having trouble installing.

When I run Install.bat it asked for an account/password. In the Readme it says its my Windows Login info... AFAIK I have no Windows login info. I tried several combinations of usernames and passwords I often use and none seemed to work.

What account/password is it asking for?

to maximize your perf you should uninstall the normal FAH client and just use one instance of the SMP client

You would not complete the SMP WUs before the deadline. SMP needs both cores to be able to complete on time. Either run two normal clients or one SMP client. You'll get far more points with the SMP client and return your work back to Stanford at a higher rate, which is why they like it.

Do you think my rig is good enough for the SMP client? I read a little about it and it sounds like it overwhelms some systems.

Well I'm running the SMP client on 2 systems:

939 X2 3800 @ 2600 & 2048Mb

AM2 X2 3800 @ 2200 & 960Mb

Both systems finish their wu's on time, the AM2 rig gets about 40min/frame or 2.7 days per wu.. I believe the SMP wu's have either 3 or 4 day limits so it's getting finished pretty close to the deadline

If you don't enter a password when you login to windows then you don't have a password. Just click on the control panel, select user accounts and create a pawword for you account.

It sucks, but you will have to go through the process to create a password. It's unfortunate that you can't leave it blank.
