sn25p no post after bios flash

I just flashed my recently acquired sn25p to the latest bios on shuttle's site. Now I'm wishing I hadn't because the computer now refuses to post. When I turn it on, the fans go on full and never slow down and it just sits there, never gives video or anything. I've tried the clear cmos button, the clear cmos jumper, and pulling the battery out and nothing has helped. Is there anything I'm missing? Have I killed the thing? The flash went fine, I used a bootdisk and awdflash, and upon hitting f1 and rebooting I haven't seen video since.

sounds like a bad flash.... have you tried testing your video card in another machine just to make sure? If it is a bad flash, you'll have to either buy a new chip, or send in your current one for a replacement.

I've also heard using a bootdisk to flash the SN25P is less preferable than using the Windows program. Weird, normally I would pick flashing via DOS.

That's what I've been reading too. Seems like alot of people are having the problem when flashing with a bootdisk. Also, from what I've read, I think I'm just going to have to buy a new chip.

Sorry to hear about your BIOS problem. I read quite a few accounts on sudhian forums myself and was really scared to end up with another borked Shuttle (my very first SN45G died within 60 minutes of turning it on; after replacement it's been flawless)

For my SN25P, I used the CD iso image from xpcbios.com, just booted up from it, crossed my fingers and flashed it. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.
