SNMP Logging

I just got a router that support snmp logging...

Below the router I have 3 computers plugged into it, and 1 switch plugged into it, with 2 other pcs into the switch

Will the SNMP log the 2 pcs in the switch? or does it only monitor the pcs plugged directly into the router

I'm asking because I know switches usually dont broadcast all the traffic info everywhere, rather than a hub, so would the router see the 2 pcs behind the switch?

Does your "router" log the SNMP? Or does it support sending SNMP traps to some SNMP server? I'm also curious what kind of SNMP messages you're hoping the router will trap for you? Either way though, GENERALLY you'll need to configure each of your PC's to send their SNMP messages to your router's IP. I don't have SNMP installed on mine, but if I remember correctly you essentially have to use the same community string for them to recognize and accept the messages. You will also specify (like I said) the IP of your router for the PC to send the SNMP info to. The switch won't make a lick of difference. Just open your Services panel and look at the properties for your SNMP service. You should find all that crap there.
