It is interesting to see oak trees whose bottom branches are typically 6 to 8 ft off the ground actually touching the ground.
Okay. The local idiots most recently were saying "omgosh! 8" overnight tonight." Not a flake in the air, 2:08 am. I don't see any snow in NY yet either. Weak.
I'm near Binghamton, NY and there's only 3-4" on the ground now. It's coming down pretty good but I don't think it's supposed to go on for past the later afternoon. Sounds like it could start again tonight with some sleet though which would could be nasty.
Up here we are supposed to get 30cm so I don't see how you can get less than what we get since it is coming from the south.
woke up to about 6 in Dansville
theres less here in Corning at work, the drive in was fine except around Bath where they didnt plow at all
other then that i drove 70 the entire way in
Someone else from the Lansing area  Haslett here :sneaky:
if you look at the map Binghamton is below the freezing rain line. or at least was last night when i watched the news
im ~90 miles north west of him and we are in the 1-2 foot range
you have your states confused
NY not MI
All the hot air coming from inside the beltway forced the system northwardyet again, the weathermen around the dc metro area were 100% wrong again. i think that gives them about a 5% accuracy rating this winter.
there isn't even any snow or ice in the forecast anymore.
For the east coasters saying they got nothing, isn't the big dump supposed to come in the next few days as this system moves through the midwest and pushes east?
