They're awesome fans so they use their Korean name instead of the English translation.

I had to look it up to figure out what it was. I have never heard any of this Korean pop crap and I don't intend to.

Kpop or USpop, it'll always be what it is. Boy bands, girl bands, heartthrobs, etc, it'll always continue.

That's like saying you hate Metal because they always play guitar.

Yes, good you grew out of Kpop, that's what most people do as they're past teenage years. Now, don't write off the whole Korean music. There are always great songs here and there, just like any music industry.
