Someone out there needs to invent a long term thermal battery. Let me store the heat now in the summer and let it loose in the winter & vice-versa.

I saw my old little Xp 1900 hit 145F earlier this week. Had to suck out all the dust bunnies. Dropped the temp all the way to 140F.

Hmm. Well, we could put some cheap vodka in the lines, use it to cool, and put a charcoal filter inline with the pumps. Filter the cheap stuff into good tasting vodka, and keep your machine running cool.

Temps here are hovering around 20-25C atm ,so not too bad.
But due to electricity costs I've been shutting my PC off through the day anyway ,I gotta say its nice to come back to a room after work that isn't an oven!

Oh & no downclocking here ,my XPM @ 2.5GHz will just take the punishment .....it's got a good large all copper HSF anyway
