So BF2 has been out for a while....

I unlocked the G3 for my first weapon. SUPER powerful and it takes out troops in a few shots. However the sight is a little clunky and the 20 round clip is pretty small. Overall, I love this gun. It takes some time to get used to but once you get the hang of it, peoples are gonna die. ( I love when spec ops decide to fight me head on )

I just hit Corporal today and I am not sure what weapon to go with... I was thinking AT because as an assault I always find myself up against tanks/apcs/choppers with no way of hitting them. I want to be able to switch to the AT class and still have a decent anti-personnel weapon. Then again, I do always start to drool thinking of the .50 sniper rifle...

I unlocked the 50cal at lance, then the AT at Corp. which was this weekend. the 12 round shot gun is a beast at close range. But I like the 50 cal to much to start a diff kit. 276th position with the sniper rifle BABY!! OH YEA!!!!!!!!!!

So far I've got the M195 (I think) sniper rifle upgrade and the SpecOps upgrade, which I can't remember.

I'm at 22k points w00t! Almost Sergeant!!

My first was the AT unlock. The street sweeper (DAO12) 12 ga 12 shot semi auto shotgun. Its really deadly up close but laffable at medium range and beyond. Last week I unlocked the support upgrade and I really like it. I think its a 7.62 round, well whatever it puts a big hole it what it hits. Its even effective against light vech and choppers, though it takes a lot of rounds to hurt a blackhawk. I can make an attack chopper go look for something easier. My advice is unlock a kit you like to play. The medic unlock is super accurate but dosnt do much damage. Sniper unlock is less accurate the origional gun but hits harder. Engineer is simalar to DAO12 as its a full auto shotgun 7 shot mag though. One huge downside of the DAO 12 is it takes forever to reload. Well, there ya go. All just my opinion of course.

G36C. Haven't noticed much of a difference. Then again, the rifle is my second to last option in a fight.

I play AntiTank a lot and unlocking the DAO semi-auto shotgun was a good choice for me. I think that I'd stick with making choices of unlocked weapons based on the kind of kit(s) you like to play.

I don't think that any of the unlocks are such that they would change my preferred style of play. That's why I think choosing the unlocked weapons based on your preferred kits is the way to go.

On the other hand, going from the AT's light sub-machine gun to the unlocked shotgun is probably the most radical unlock in the bunch.

Unlocked sniper first and then stopped using it much.

DAO-12 second. It's very useful in some maps/situations but a lot of the time I curse myself for unlocking it.

I choose the spec ops first. I can't stand the MEC's gun as spec ops, that was my reasoning. I am glad I did it. I do find I still use the USMC's M4 rather than the unlocked gun sometimes though.
I think I might go for the .50 cal next... I'm not sure though I think I have quite aways to go before I get to unlock again. I don't play sniper much at all but I think it would be a fun gun.

I unlocked the M95 and well i find it the same as the other bolt action rifle. I picked up a G3 and an L85 from some dead guys and the G3 was pretty good except it has no grenade launcher... screw that ill stick with ma M16 thanks, as for the L85, it seems allrite, dont really fight much when im medic though.

I unlocked the G3, even though I never play Assault. The default medic weapons are almost as good as the medic unlock anyways.

I ended up unlocking the DAO. I think its great but I really like playing around with the AT rockets. Its so much fun when you hit a person with it. They don't expect the AT guy to have any ranged attack so they stand still...good stuff...

I started a new guy that I am going to get to Lance Corporal so I can unlock the .50 cal sniper rifle. I don't think I will ever make it to Sargent...25k points is A LOT!
