So California - Costco Gas $1.51 reg and $1.62 premium -

Was in Costco Torrance yesterday - regular gas is $1.51 / premium is $1.62 .... the lines were about 10 cars deep. Article in local paper says the Costco gas lines sometimes get 50 cars deep.

(This might not sound like a great deal to people in other areas, but most stations are charging about $1.80 reg / $2.00 premium around here)

same for the san bruno one in NOrth Cal i went to two days ago if i'm not mistaken. and the line was so long that they make u go around the parking lot to not block traffic on the street.

Costco attendant told me they buy their gas from all the major oil companies except Arco - they take bids every week from Shell, Mobil, Texaco, etc and buy from the lowest bidder.

local shell/chevron sells $1.95 and Costco sells $1.51/g.
I go to Costco station early in the morning to avoid the traffic..

$1.18 where i live (south central Missouri). I was in St.Louis over the weekend and many places had gas between $1.15-$1.18....i found one place that had it for $1.13

It was 1.51/1.61 at the Chino Hills CostCo yesterday (30min to 1 hour wait through). Should be same or lower today.

Does anyone know the price at Azusa? It was super cheap at Alhambra and I was lucky I only need to wait 15min and 3 cars in front of me last Tue evening. Even i need to drive about 15-25min from San Gabriel to there, but I think it worth it 'cos the local Shell on sale at Sun (today) for $2.01 after 5% shell MC still 1.919. Costco save 30 cents per Gal and my car pump about 15 Gal. But I wish they have full service so I can leave my car with them while I am shopping. The check out line takes at least 15min anyway. I was wondering when did they lower down there gas price so much 'cos usually they are only 10cents cheaper than Shell on sale, sometimes when shell give me the 5% rebate, shell beat costco's price, but suddenly, they suprise me.
