Buying the game on PC, i was so happy thinking it would be only for 360 and PC, but even my x1900xt could not support it (low cpu power). I save money to buy a 360 to just play the game ! and now ........

its even on PS3!

Such a late port, it's like when Bungie (or Gearbox) ported Halo to the PC a year or more after it was on the Xbox. More power to PS3 boys and girls... I own a X360, but I believe everyone should enjoy this game.

The 360 did not impress me..it did not seem more than a Xbox 1.5 (not too mention most of the good 360 games can be had on the PC, if I did not have a game PC I would want a 360).

The PS3 "looks" very impressive, but I will wait and see what actually comes out. If it rocks I will buy it as soon as the first price drop and or game bundle shows up. I don't like paying an early adopter tax.

i have had all 3 most of the time (even loved my dreamcast)

last gen it was:

xbox for halo
ps2 for final fantasy
gamecube for zelda

gears of wars certainly looks awesome, and i'm sure square will have a solid FF for ps3, but frankly the price of admission for ps3 is ridiculous for 1 game (even if it is a final fantasy title), and while there are some other decent "exclusives", something similar and almost as good will be on other consoles (not to mention bluray may turn into another betamax).

looks like this round may just be limted to wii (zelda) and 360 (gears of war, the next halo - altho halo 3, halo wars, halo movie, unnamed Peter Jackson halo project.... halo overload?) for me...

in the beginning, ps2 won out due to hype (the launch titles sucked, as did the gfx in the beginning), backward compatibility, and fan loyalty carried over from ps1. not sure those things will work for sony this time..

the PS3 will not have oblivion user created mods . . . some of the PC mods are better than the game.

I'm going into game design and am pumped FOR ALL systems as everyone else should be.

People become fanboys because they can't afford more than once console and are mad they don't get to play Gears of War, or Zelda TP, MGS4, and other console exclusives so they resort to slamming the other system which is quite pathetic and almost hurtful that they can't just accept great games no matter what system they are on.

I will be owning all 3 consoles nearly right away along with my PC : reasons below

Bolded the ones that are going to end up in my collection in the coming few months (releases pending ofc). Not entirely sure on Halo Wars but with Peter Jackson at the helm it should be worth a blast. As for the Wii titles, i'll play them round my mates rather than waste money on something I won't have much time for.

2006-7 is looking like a great year to me.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning & FM07 will take up most of my spare time.
