There's an Affiliate at the top who doesn't know how to use whole sentences in a post.

There's now an Affiliate forum... populated by that one affiliate..

and now.. spam from ForumAdmin advertizing said affiliate... and it sounds like it was written by a 2-year old.

I suppose it's possible, but it would be out of character for Anandtech to have such an affiliate. They sure do sound fishy.. Here's their disclaimer:

The fact that it hasn't been corrected, and according to one of the links, the Admins are aware of it... scares me.

Can the Admins really not stop or reverse a hack on the forum?

i mean.. we know their DBA's are incompetent, since the forums keep crashing (or crashed) nightly.

Are the admins as well?

On the plus side.. since the forum was "hacked" .. it hasn't crashed. Maybe the hacker knows how to run a Database?

As I was saying in a previous post the thing they have fucked up the most isn't necessarily the vB upgrade so much as COMUNICATION!!! Tell us WTF is going on! Let us know what each maintenance period is for, what mistakes have been made. If they don't know WTF is going on the TELL US THAT TOO!! Otherwise this is just one big free for all!
