So he went ahead and bought it! 2005 Inferno Red Magnum R/T Hemi **update PICS**

He said March, but when I drove home yesterday afternoon, it was sitting in the driveway. Apparently, he found one in a showroom that had ALMOST everything he wanted in a Magnum.

2005 Dodge Magnum R/T... RWD, Inferno red. Light grey leather interior with heated seats. Sunroof. 18" wheels. Only thing it doesn't have is the 3800lb towing package but he likes the fact that this one has the some type of convenience option (heated seats, mirrors, dual climate, etc).

I'll have pictures up today. I drove it last night to the store.... so freaking smooth. Couldn't even hear the starter, I had to look down at the tach to see if it started. I've never listened to a Ferrari up close, but the exhaust sounds so exotic when I rev it... smooth and sexy. Not really loud, but definitely there. Such a nice car. Backseat has tons of room (yes, pops said I can take it on the occasional date) and the cargo room is pretty spacious. Salesman said it should hold a 27in TV.

I played with the fake manual transmission and it was actually very nice. Mercedes 5 speed auto was barely noticeable.

I'm just not believing this... 'Red' has to be a parody of an Off Topic ATer. oh man. sweet pictures. my parents are thinking of selling their jeep and van to purchase another suv type vehicle. i want to convince them to go with the magnum rt. that would be awesome.

however, they might be better off with something cheaper like an xterra, since they plan on buying another car later.

Yeah looks like loads of cheap plastic with some low quality leather seating thrown in for good measure. Though I'm sure it would still smoke my Taurus any day
