Im stoked today (tues 19th) my order came. None of them come in the box but microsoft train ad on came in the sealed disc case and with the actual Manual. The othe two were in Paper sleve but tottaly legit disks. I am super happy and cannot wait till I have more funds because they have alot of discs I want to get for my childreen and I there cheap
$5 software.
I ordered each of my boys something and one for me with a $18 shipped total
No boxes just disc only if it should matter to some (not me )
***EDIT*** I found a few more games I just had to have and it turns out they ship very fast. I found this site last night around 10pm looking up old games. Made my order and just called to see if I could catch it and add 2 more to the order and it shipped this morning . OH and I actually talked to a live person and they were nice. WOW I dont think there is going to be any problems at all with them IMO. Did anyone pick priority mail? If so can you let us know how quick you got your order? Thanks.
You can make your xp operating software make the game think its running on a 95,98se,me,2000, and nt by using the compatibility mode
So the "it cant run on this nt system" error message is a thing of the past man
I have a ton of 98 only games and if you dont know what I am talking about do this.
RIGHT click on game Icon OR even the set up icon on the disc when you explore it.
Select PROPERTIES
Far right thumb box says COMPATIBILITY so select it
Select box that says-Run this progtam in compatibility mode for: and select windows 98
THATS IT!
The error that it wont run on your system will be gone. The warning that it wont set up on your system is gone, it will now run. So dont fret about buying old software anymore this works for the most part for everything but dos Some dos games will run making it think its on a 95 system but for the most part sound wont be found or it will not sound right
