honestly, i dont think it matters how $hitty the printer or scanners are.... you're getting PAIDED and getting free $hit... you make ~10$ ( i dont wanna get into the math) and then you can sell the $hit if you dont want it or you can use it... its FREE MONEY!!! who gives a damn about the quality...

apollo is a printer so horrible, hp hates to put its name on it and in fact didn't on the older ones, not sure about the new ones.

you know how kids have bubblegum cellphones? well its kinda like a bubblegum printer but no bubblegum.

I agree with those who couldn't care less about the quality...only the resellability! I figure I'll get about 4 items for free, sell them on E*ay and get enough in total to buy some more Crucial PC133. Now THAT'S a hot deal.

Can someone please confirm that the $40 rebate for Apollo will be okie? The rebate form says that &quot;This rebate is not valid with any other offer.&quot; And if this is the case, then the Apollo rebate will definitely not be honoured.

I just got my Apollo today. I also have the Epson Stylus 480 printer that was free after rebate. I've heard that the Apollo was ancient technology, but I just printed the same Yahoo banner page and the Apollo beats the Epson. I've printed less than 10 pages with bith printers total, so they're both rather new. The Apollo prints crisper characters, and the yellow background in a banner was much better blended while the Epson had grainy red dots. While the Epson was quicker, the Apollo has a better paper tray. The Epson doesn't have a power button but the Apollo does.

My scanner/printer HP/Apollo combo came with TWO USB cables. Let's see if I get the rebate now!
