Not that I was rooting for it to happen, but the NFL is finally getting hit hard with COVID. Some of those early season games they postponed for just a few cases. Now teams are really getting hit and they are stuck playing guys picked up off the street.

They should have added an extra bye week for schedule flexibility.

On a related note, it seems like a pipe dream for the NBA to start the regular season in 4 weeks. COVID-19 will be on a rampage leading into Christmas.

Well the Raiders certainly got a dose of reality today ... I realize Atlanta is a lot better than their record indicates but Carr and the Vegas O-line were completely exposed.

Compared to the tight contest last week vs KC this was night and day ... illustrates perfectly why NFL football is one of the most difficult sports to consistently predict.

If KC/Mahomes didn't seem to play down to opponents and only put the "pedal to the metal" when forced I doubt it would be this close.

TB is a weird team ... sometimes the D looks great but then it looks like they're running in quicksand the next set of downs.


And I'm saying it now ... the entire NFC better watch out for the Rams. I'm not a fan but they have a lot of "comeback" in them!

The problem is Fitz is so up and down. Tua is new so you can excuse him but Fitz has been around the league for a long time. He is good for a backup journeyman but not the long term solution as the starting QB.

Honestly, I don't think Tua is all that either. I rather the Fins picked other QB's in the first round but I am just a fan, long time suffering fan since the 80's.

Yeah. That defense blindsided the rams. I think we are back to wanting a starting QB. I had always hoped Mullens was gonna develop into the starter but I don't see that happening.
