Yeah me too, it goes well with my violent gestures when I speak.
Yeah, otherwise I'd be spilling it all over the place. And you just can't say enough about the discretion.

So how do you people drink wine?
I tried drinking wine the other day... you know.. sniffing it in my glass first, sipping some, leaving it in my mouth to taste for a bit, and then finally swallowing due to the nasty taste. What am i doing wrong?
I've tried maybe 10-15 kinds of wine in my life.
Some of them cheap(MD 20/20 and Cisco), some not so cheap (for example, $8 per glass at one restaurant, and wine tasting somewhere)
So far, I'd say I liked MD 20/20 the best
I drank like 80% of the bottle.
Cisco I usually get down about 20% of the bottle...
The more expensive wines I usually stop after a few sips...
Really, wine is fucking nasty. I don't get how people love it as much as they do. It's just not compatible with my taste.
Then again, I feel the same way about beer and coffee. Though I can down beer when I need to.
I dont know about the ice cubes, but yea buy better wine. Not the boxed mess and not anything below 20bucks a bottle. 20 a bottle is still cheap but something like Clos Du Bois merlot thats 2 or 3 years old will be dry but smooth. I have a 2001 bottle I may open up this xmas. It should be excellent by now.buy better wine? or be classy and put some ice cubes in it lol
Start off drinking Thunderbird as a teen, and then it all tastes good.

I've never cared for wine either. I love beer, love black coffee, and drink my liquor straight these days, but wine is an acquired taste I've just never acquired.
Try drinking wine that is paired with good food. Then you can start appreciating its complexity, etc. If you're drinking red, try beaujelais and merlot since they are sweeter.
