So how many times it took you to pass the written/driving test to get your license?

It seems that the average is around 2 for guys and 2.5 for girls
My 2 cousins had to take the written test 3 times and the actual driving test 4 times to get the license driving automatics and both are guys lol
BTW, I aced both the first time

I am inclined to agree, I passed each one on my first try and neither was very hard. If some one fails more than once, they should have to go through hell to get a license.

once for both. I got the max wrong on the written and nearly failed the behind-the-wheel b/c I kept stopping over the limit line and it wasn't obivous to the tester that I was looking for crosstraffic when passing intersections.

LOL now I remember that my cousin failed the test BEFORE leaving the DMV parking lot because he "cutoff" someone when he was backing up.

I failed the vision test and was forced to go to the eye doctor. The doctor said my prescription had not changed and said he would call the DMV. They told him that they figured out the machine was unplugged. I wondered why it was so dark. The DMV kept telling me I must have night blindness. I knew that I didn't!

Failed the first time through because I didn't use the turn signal when I pulled into a parking spot after the test was "over". When the cop-peroni told me "sorry, kiddo, you'll failed," I was ready to bark back "you ALWAYS fail 16 year old males the first time through."

When I got my class A license in 1990 my regular license was due so I had to take car, motorcycle, truck, air brake, doubles/triples, tanker and haz mat. I missed 2 questions out of all 7 tests.
