So how many times it took you to pass the written/driving test to get your license?

How can anyone NOT pass the easiest test ever.

the driving test I can see people getting nervous, not knowing exactly what they are doing, that being said, I had a 100%

once for written and for driving. piece of cake, it's the car equivilent of a computer test that goes: "which button is the left mouse button? good, you pass."

bah, took the written test once and the driving test twice. the first time i took the driving test, the instructor started screaming at me 100 feet before i got back into the parking lot. interesting experience getting yelled at by a fat italian man squeezed into my tiny toyota celica.

i know some people are going to find this harsh but i say if you fail the drivers test you can't take it again for 6 months. and to add to that, i know it'll never happen cause not everyone owns one, but i think drivers tests should be taken with manual cars, not automatics....personal oppinion. just say you and a friend who owns a standard car are out. he gets drunk. passes out or like somehow breaks his leg or something and you have to get him somewhere...cars standard....what are you going to do. i know some people that don't even know what a clutch is much less try to use it..IMO.you fail the test. 6 months more of practice before you take it again.*period.

All i had to on the actual driving test was make the block. 4 right turns.... and that was all.

I never actually took a driving test. Had to take a driver's ed course from my high school to get my license, and they waived the test. But I still failed the first time I took the written test, the year before the driver's ed course - one more wrong than the limit - I was 14, and I didn't study at ALL. Stoopid kid I was...

Passed it the second time, though.

And the DMV tends to agree with you. You can't be on the road until you pass.
I had to take the driving test twice, because I was driving waaaay too fast to make this one particular turn on the first try. Of course my stepsister managed to pass on the first try, so I had to live with that stigma for a while....

When I re-newed my license, was waiting for the driven test. This guy had his son wating for his (first) driven test. This VERY pretty Indian (as in from India) girl comes out and calls this kids name. After they drive off, I walk over to the guy and say "If there was a sure way to distract your kid, she just got in the car with him. You guys will be back here in about two weeks." He smiles and says, "Yea, I knew that soon as she called his name." We both had a good laugh.
