Im heading back for more surgery tomorrow (part 2 take down surgery) and cant eat for the next 24 hours. I also have to take golytely bowl prep for the millionth time, then its maybe 3 days eating hospital food and comming back with a JP drain again. I hate that thing, but it wont be so bad with the morphine drip.

Other than that, things arent so bad so far.

so far, so good. my neighbor with a snowblower cleared my sidewalk for me, which was super awesome.

on the other hand, I've barely got enough food to last me through today, so I'm going to have to venture out later and hope a store/restaurant in walking distance is open. I'm thinking my best bet is Dunkin Donuts... I could survive tomorrow on donuts and crappy bagels. and if they're closed, hot pockets from the gas station across the street.

Also I had to make a wide path to the backyard so that we could get shit out of there.

Also, needed to do some cleanup work because there were places where the snow was like 3-4 feet from the snow cleanup trucks

Definitely better than yours...but far from perfect. I'm fighting with installing games on Vista 64. They install fine...but crash to the desktop. Still...the sun is shining, it's not cold, (in the upper 50's) and my disability check arrived. (4 days late, but it still arrived)

Ahhh .... that's a pretty good amount of snow, and yea, those drifts of heavy ice chunks at the end of the driveway suck ass!!!! Mines similar, big enough for 4 cars (2 wide 2 long.)

I invested in a steel shovel last year after having broken a crappy plastic shovel every year for like 10 years in a row. Can handle ice just fine now, and never even felt the shovel "give" or show any signs of stress...
