Wow, I really can't possibly imagine what you are going through right now, but I really hope things get better for you really soon. I honestly don't know how I'd deal with a situation like this if I were to find myself in it, but I've got to say that you sound like an incredibly strong person to have done as well as you have.

On another note, you mentioned that even if your fiancee were to get better she could possibly stand trial for what happened, but wouldn't the fact that she was quite obviously very mentally ill at the time and doesn't seem connected to reality have any bearing on that?

It sounds like you have some great support from your parents, and that things are at least going well with your daughter, I hope things continue to improve for you the way they have been.

I haven't had any news about Michelle since she was transfered to Canberra two weeks ago.

Emily is doing fine...although she has to have an operation in few weeks to repair a hernia in her belly button, it start to come up while she was in foster care and now it has started to get bigger....but it doesn't seem to bother her and she is a happy little girl.

She is smiling a lot and make lots of funny little noise....very cute, I took her to the local baby clinic and they said other than the Hernia she is perfectly fine...she now weighs 11 pounds 2 onces....almost double her birth weight now...and she is only 9 weeks old.

I'll post some new pics of her in a day or so.

I haven't posted in this thread in awhile so I better give an update....

Emily is doing really well...she's almost 12lb...now close to double her birth weight, I have some new pictures that were taken today.

Thanks...I tried to get a picture of her smiling but everytime the flash went off she would pull some goofy little face...it's a shame because Emily has a beautiful smile.

hmmm not really...she still has to stay with my parents due to a court order....because I work during the day somebody has to look after emily so when I went to family court a week ago they decided it is in the best interests that Emily remains with my parents for the time being.

I only really get to spend a few hours a day with Emily while I'm on leave from work.
