You should have jumped up toward him, come down with a fierce punch, then when you hit the ground come up with a fierce uppercut, then a sonic boom, then a back fist. That will put him into stars and you can do it over again.

I'm not denying that the story may have been based in part on something that really happened... There's just too many embellishments that don't add up. In addition to what Fausto already disected, where was the girlfriend? Did she climb over the fence too? Or was she waiting back at the truck? You were able to go to your car that he just passed, but he had to climb a fence to get to you? I'm having trouble picturing a basketball court accessible to people who park on the road, but inaccessible to people stopped at the stop-sign. And, such that climbing the fence would be quicker than going to the entrance of the court. Yet, at the stopsign he was within throwing distance of a piece of brick. Hmmmm. If you can draw a diagram of the layout for us, maybe we'll believe it a little bit more. I'll check back later for the diagram. (Til then, I call BS)

edit: better yet, include an approximate address of the place so we can verify the turns in the road, etc. on a map.

Your story has one big whole in it...which makes me believe you *might* be lying about the rest of it. The German 6th Army was at Stalingrad! Of course I heard they threw rocks at the local Red yokels too and got in fights and such...
