LoL, no i dont do speed. I went to court, i wasnt in the computer, so they sent me down the hall to the DA Office, they said they are still reviewing my case. so they gave me a # to call, to see where i was at. and then i went home. i called the # a couple times, and they were still reviewing my case. I dont see it as my fault that i got a warrant. i wasnt notified to go to court.

If that's true, then CALL A LAWYER! You got that result 5 days ago? CALL A LAWYER.

Hm well, i can't offer advice on that... since i don't know the system too well, but i would imagine a lawyer in Cali... a Texan one would just be more expensive, since they'll need to travel to CA. And it's probably cheaper for you to go there than for them to.

But i can offer some advice though... before you show up for court, or heck, just whenever you're going outside, because you can get nabbed if you get pulled over... keep a balloon of good stuff up your ass at all times. That stuff will be worth more than gold once you're in.

No matter what this could put a crimp on your navy career, especially if the field you plan on entering requires a security clearance. I have a squaky clean record and the DISA people went back 15 years. Heck they tracked down people I forgot I knew. They do take into the account the type of people you associate with so even having the wrong friends can limit your advancement. Just a heads up.

1. Yes, that is a warrant for your arrest.
2. You WILL need to appear before a judge regarding the charges.
3. I would get a lawyer if I were you and then turn yourself in. (looks better, accepting responsibility)
4. If the charges are dropped, you are good to go. If you are found guilty, no Navy for you.

Get it taken care of ASAP but talk to a lawyer first, a decent one can get that charge dropped if it happens the way you said it did.

Disposition : PENDING; 11/23/2005: WARRANT ISSUED

Its pending right? or wtf/

The charges against you are pending till you show up for court. The warrant is issued to bring yuo in on thoes pending charges. Prey you dont get pulled over because depending on the charges they could take you in and ship you ass to CA.

I would call CA courts that have the charges agaisnt you to see what you need to do.

thats what i was going to say. if the cops have to look you up for anything, they will see that right away and haul you off to jail. get it fixed ASAP!

Didn't you hear where he's going to ask the judge nicely to drop the charges over the phone and all will be well?

Damn, if that's all it takes, I'm moving to the US and starting some high-level drug trafficking and prostitution businesses. If I get summoned to court, I'll just ring the judge and get him to drop the charges.

SO i have reason the belive that he planted the drugs,, or is using the same drugs my freind was found guilty of and tried to get me for it.

ALSO!! AT THE STATION HE SHOWED ME A COIN PURSE WITH A SPEED PIPE, AND SAID HE FOUND IT NEXT TO MY CAR. HELLO, THIS COP IS OBVIOSLY BULLSHITING.

People like you make America look bad. A sure sign of guilt is blaming everything on anyone but you. "Get a lawyer" is mentioned over 200 times in this thread. Call one, explain your case, and setup a payment plan. Other than that quit being a moron and posting garbage on here.

Dude, nobody else will tell you but if you can't afford a lawyer the state will appoint one for you. This sounds a little familiar to what happened to my son here in Florida. He was accoused of helping someone (the accuser) do something illegal. The detectives called our house to talk to him and we returned the calls several times (only to get her answering machine), I left numerous messages for her to call and set up a time to talk and never received another word from them all summer. When school started they decided to arrest him and THEN accuse him of a crime knowing full when the school would suspend him immediately. They were hoping he would plea out like he did something so he wouldn't fail the school year. Long story short they had to appoint him a REAL lawyer because the first Public Defender was representing the accuser. They dropped the charge to possesion (although they never cought him with anything nor did he fail a drig test) and he served probation for two months and it was over. Had he fought the charge he would have failed the school year. Good Luck.

Im not going to waste money that i dont have on a lawyer, Ill call the judge and have him drop this by simply talking to him.
Im sure he can understand my sitiation

Oh God this post is hilarious.

What? If i can talk to the judge and explain to him that im trying to join the NAVY, and serve our country, he has the power to drop the charge.

And why should he believe anything that comes out of your mouth especially considering you got busted with drugs.

What kind of narcotic possesion is a felony?

I thought you need at least intent to distribute for that

I think its Possisson, and i told the cop its not mine, and he wouldnt even show me what he "found" in my car. This cop is full of ******, and my friends the one who had it in his pocket, the cops knew me forever and one of them went to school with my brother, CITY OF LA PALMA SUCKS ASS. Peice of ****** 2sqmiles with a swat team, wtf?

If you're accused of a crime, you should fight it in court. There's little you can do otherwise. The cop needs evidence, but even without it, he can screw you over (which would be misconduct), but the fact remains that he said you had drugs. He has to prove that you're guilty, but running from it won't help.

Exactly. If you're accused of a crime, even by the highschool bully who has a grudge against you, you're still required to take care of it.

Which is why in legal affairs you should keep a record of EVERYTHING.
Keep phone records showing you called. Keep recordings of the messages you leave. Get parking tickets signed and keep them as records you went to the court house.

Make records of everything, EVERYTHING, you do in regards to legal affairs. That way you can go in front of the judge and say "I tried calling here here and here. I left these messages. I was at the court house on this time and this time."
