And to top it off they just got added to the "National Cancer Institute".

That's the very reason why she went there in first place.

I admit that you guys are making some good points here. I'm going to investigate this matter further.

If this is true then you should be able to OWN the hospital if you get some representation. Your "child" could have developmental issues that might not be noticed for years because of the "cancer treatment".

i only wrote it in that fashion because i wanted to keep it succinct in cliff-note style.

if you're wondering if i love my son. yes, i love him. he's been a blessing in disguise.

why did i make this thread now, but not before? Because i just wanted to vent after taking verbal and physical beating from my mom.

How about growing up and cutting the apron strings?

This is either the standard ATOT troll thread, or the OP doesn't realize that gold mine upon which he is sitting.

Gonna try to keep it short through cliff style.

1. I'm Asian male in mid 20's.
2. Last year, I hook up with a white woman in her mid 30's.
...
6. Baby already 6 months old and abortion is not an option.
7. We agree on adoption.
8. She changes her mind as baby comes out.
9. She and I remain friends as she takes care of the baby.
10. I finally grow the balls to tell my parents about the baby today.
11. My mom has panic attack and curses at me.
12. Parents are furious about the fact that I'm not married, she's white, she's much older, she had cancer and so on.

13. I feel crappy now.

This is a serious issue for me so I ask you guys to keep it civil.

Please do all of us a favor and save the, "OMG EPIC, popcorn + lawn chair, FAIL, pics!!... etc."

Honestly, I've removed the parts that are likely untrue. Probably just a cover up sob story to get sympathy because the only real problem here is OP didn't wear a raincoat, finally fessed up and is paying the price now instead of just sounding like a stupid irresponsible kid.

OP: Congratz if you're "manning up" to take care of the kid. Good for you. Other than that, ignore your parents.

So, what steps should I take to purse this legally?

Should I first have the hospital fax over all the records to us? And then discuss it with a lawyer?

Pretty much, yep. You should always take copies of any records you get at a hospital/clinic/office/etc with you on the day of the visit. At least, I think so.

lol am i the only person who believes this guy?

I'm assuming there is some posting history with the OP and AT cause there seems to be a lot of hate towards him.

Meh the kids cute, he's happy to be a father. If it's all a lie, no sweat off my back.

Good job OP for an asian man hooking up with the white woman.

I thought most surgeries require some sort of cut with a knife. Are there such thing as a knifeless surgery?

Now we need picture of you with the baby, holding a ATOT OT sign with today date. 6/28/2010.

just playing the devil's advocate here, but it is somewhat possible that the pregnancy test was overlooked. hcg is the hormone that a pregtest checks for, some tumors could also release hcg; however, i still believe the OP is trolling.

speaking of babbies, one of my sister's classmates (18 or 19 yo) told her parents that she was pregnant on wednesday and had the baby on saturday.

not as lulzy as teh OP, but at least i know it's true.

Wow...those are some winner parents if they were completely unaware (well...unless the girl didn't live under their roof).

I've seen quite a few 15-18 year old girls living with their parents who were completely unaware of the pregnancies. These girls really didn't show, though, I couldn't even really tell (overtly) when they were wheeled in to the ED. That said, the parents aren't usually the brightest bulbs either.

Might I submit to you all an alternate theory about the reality of the events in the OP.

Operating under the truism that all women are batshit crazy insane, perhaps it was the cancer itself that was a lie.

Perhaps this middle aged women was setting a trap for this poor young man, intentionally trying to get pregnant. Maybe the whole cancer thing was just her trying to play the sympathy card.

Maybe she knew all along that she was pregnant, but didn't know how to break this news to the OP. So instead of being truthful, she went through this elaborate ruse as a smokescreen.

I mean what better way to soften the blow of telling a man she's having his accidental baby than to first say that you may be dying of cancer?

Do I believe any of what I just said is true? Not really, but hey, it's more believable than what the OP wrote.

i wonder how smart it is to name a reputable hospital in a troll thread about gross medical negligence. there are a lot of us from the atlanta area on the forums, eventually one of them is going to work there or know someone who does and take a special interest.

That story is more believable, but the OP's must be pretty dumb to fall for that story. There is no way in hell the baby will be healthy, when the baby mamma is receiving all those chemo.

Indeed, I wish I knew someone there so I could point them to this thread. I know that I couldn't find out any info but they could have their administrators look and see if any of this actually happened.

Anyone can post a picture of a baby and claim it is theirs. There is no proof in that picture that it is his.

OP still lives at home? Where is the baby and the the baby's mother living?
