Gonna try to keep it short through cliff style.
1. I'm Asian male in mid 20's.
2. Last year, I hook up with a white woman in her mid 30's.
3. She gets stage 2 stomach cancer.
4. She goes through radiation therapy and gets surgery.
5. After the surgery, she gets scanned and they find a baby in her uterus.
6. Baby already 6 months old and abortion is not an option.
7. We agree on adoption.
8. She changes her mind as baby comes out.
9. She and I remain friends as she takes care of the baby.
10. I finally grow the balls to tell my parents about the baby today.
11. My mom has panic attack and curses at me.
12. Parents are furious about the fact that I'm not married, she's white, she's much older, she had cancer and so on.
13. I feel crappy now.
This is a serious issue for me so I ask you guys to keep it civil.
Please do all of us a favor and save the, "OMG EPIC, popcorn + lawn chair, FAIL, pics!!... etc."

Yes, the first thing they do for females in almost any medical situation, especially, most definitely, the one you described, is give them a pregnancy test.I understand. Although, the only thing that's "unbelievable" is the fact that hospital did not give her a pregnancy test. However, are they legally required to do so? Can anyone prove this?
OP, I see you are online.
Is any of this true or is it some kind of project for college on how people on messageboard react to this kind of stuff?
Yeh, but.... no pregnancy test really is strange here. The hospital is in deep shit for doing radiation and all and not even making sure she was/wasn't pregnant. Some women opt to NOT have their cancer treatment until after the baby is born. It's a wonder the baby is OK with all the radiation concentrated in that area. Is the baby OK?It's true.
I don't see what's so unbelievable about it though.
There has been many cases where women didn't know they were pregnant really late.. or until the baby actually popped out in the toilet.

Does the baby look Asian?

Did she have the cancer treatment in the U.S.?
You don't know that the baby is 100% healthy.Baby checked out 100% healthy which is the only reason why we didn't get pursue a legal route against the hospital.
But, I don't even know if hospital is legally required to give a pregnancy test. I'd love to find out.
Your parents are the racist.
Yes, the hospital is liable for giving a pregnancy test. I am sure it is proper policy and procedure. I would bet on it.

Is anyone here a doctor or a lawyer that can actually attest to this?
It's an Asian culture thing. I'd say they are more close-mind than racists.
No, Koreans are pretty racist.
If you are really Korean, then this story will spread like wildfire through the Korean community in the coming weeks, and will be made into a Korean drama in the coming weeks. I will ask my parents if they have heard such a story to confirm OP's story.
What stage was her gastric cancer classified at when she was diagnosed?
Stage 0, Stage I, Stage II, Stage III or Stage IV?
i already mentioned stage 2 in OP.
They said chance of survivor was like 30%.
