Jan 2013 I weighed in at 220 lbs (height 6'3" age 33). Over the years I have tried so many different things to lose weight with different diets and workout routines and I was getting really frustrating especially when I would keep hearing about how I'm not trying hard enough.
Then several months later I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor which was 3.5 cm large. Finally it seemed like I had an explanation for some of the troubles I've been having in life including weight gain.
Had successful surgery to get the bitch out and since then I have been strictly on a low calorie diet (eat anything but manage small portions) and have been steadily losing weight to the point where I am just under 190 now.
Plan to start getting serious about working out and running too so I'm excited to see how that affects me differently now than before.
Anyway just wanted to say that sometimes if you really are struggling big time and can't explain why you work hard and get no results... maybe you really do have some medical condition and you should check it out! Definitely get your hormone level monitored regularly.
