I'm going to an Elite 8 game with some pretty rabid basketball fans. I know the basics but would at least want to know what they are talking about as far as strategy, fouls, and so on. Any websites that go over this stuff?
There are two baskets. A basket is that tall thing at the end of the court with the white netting dangling below it. Each team tries to take the basketball (there is only one) and put it in "their" basket (also known as their "hoop"). The tournament started with 64 teams (minus the play-in game), but only Kansas will win the title.
