So I purchased an iphone 6s+, I don't get it!

Yeah I can understand switching around to try new stuff, most of the gaming I do is on emulators so Android obviously works better there for me, I will say if I was having problems with my phone I would switch too but luckily my note 4 has been pretty solid even after taking a dip in the ocean. I'm getting a 6P anyways because I have really fond memories of my nexus 4 (which is still going strong for a co-worker) so hopefully there aren't many problems with that.

I really liked my galaxy nexus, in fact it felt smoother than my s6 in retrospect. I wish nexus were cheaper, the asking price seems high when there are cheaper motos and alcatels out there getting decent reviews

Yeah it'd always be nice if the nexus phones were cheaper, but the 6P is a pretty good value and I'm willing to pay a bit of a premium for actually good software support that the Nexus gets over other phones.

The Nexues are pretty cheap for what they are. The 5X starts under $400. That is half of iPhone pricing.

And yet you got an S6? Why not just get a Nexus or Moto phone in the first place?

Just sell that S6 and pick up a brand new Nexus 6 for $300. You will probably actually make some money in the end.

The camera on the s6 is MUCH better than the nexus of that time, and tmobile jump meant it was 0 out of pocket and a 0% interest loan. At the time going from an iphone 6 to a nexus seemed like a lateral move while the s6 was getting game changing performance/camera reviews. The camera IS fantastic, better than my wife's iphone 6s+ to be honest. The level of manual control available on the samsung is worthy of some praise

Still waiting on my iphone 6s+ pre-order (it's backordered). I can deal with the s6 edge for a few more weeks, I have a big external usb battery thing

0 out of pocket does not change the price of the phone though. The S6 is still more expensive whether you buy it all at once or through monthly payments...

If the camera was your main need, then that makes sense.

I hear you but, with toddlers, the camera was a really big deciding factor. And, ok, I thought the s6 edge looked really cool, I'm a sucker for good design. I was annoyed by the actual execution of the design in person though, the iphone feeling like one solid piece while the s6 feels pieced together with visible and inconsistent gaps, seemed chintzy for an $800 phone. It's a minor concern, something I would look over if the battery got me through a day. Put a bigger battery on it and charge $500 new then I would have a lot less to complain about.
