If you want to stop being confused with gay on this site, drop the "Village People" cop icon and the tallk about you being targetted by strangers as gay.

My best mate and I went to Ontario's largest mall, Square One in Mississauga, this afternoon. We were shopping for clothes.

We hit up the Tommy Hilfiger store and I tried on a few items from his "H" Hilfiger collection. I picked out a purple, pink, and black striped dress shirt I liked. As I was paying for it, the girl behind the counter, ringing me through, said, "Hey, I recognize you! You were the guy who bought a few solid colour shirts last time you were here. You said you were sick of stripes!"

"Yeah, but as soon as I saw the purple one, I had to have it," I replied.

"It's awesome. I love it. This is much better than the navy you bought last time," she exclaimed. She then looked to my buddy, and said, "I bet you're the navy guy. Here he is buying this awesome shirt, and I bet when you guys go to clubs he gets noticed, like, an hour before you do! I mean, you're both good-looking guys, but he's so trendy."

At that point I knew she thought we were gay.

We bantered a bit more. I thanked her, we left, and could barely contain our laughter before exiting the store.

I wasn't bothered in the slightest, neither was my friend, who is considerable less interested in clothes than me. I'm wondering, would that bother you? Has it ever happened?

you should start planning for the coming out of closet party

Just metrosexuality dude. I'm the same way. So what if we like nice clothes.

But what about Phil? Metrosexuals also have ALOT of money.

Defintion:
"The typical metrosexual is a young man with money to spend, living in or within easy reach of a metropolis ? because that's where all the best shops, clubs, gyms and hairdressers are. He might be officially gay, straight or bisexual, but this is utterly immaterial because he has clearly taken himself as his own love object and pleasure as his sexual preference."

That is sad and pathetic....Metrosexuals are basically narcissistic...too much interest in and admiration for your own physical appearance and/or your own abilities. It's a disorder as well.

Nothing wrong with wearing nice clothes...but flaunting it and being in total love with yourself? Blech..
