wait, so native speakers, such as more than half of the people that post here fail to know the difference between:

- Their , They're , There
- Your, You're
- Then , Than

and you demand perfect grammar from someone who's obviously not a native english speaker?

Good point, and in fact Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world followed by English so let see. I assume the OP is college educated, I'd like to hear you type out a few chinese sentences for me.

No problem:

a few chinese sentences for me.

That was easy, but I would normally capitalize the C in Chinese. Next challenge?

Wait, maybe he did

found this on google...

http://www.chionline.com/Antoniotsai/index.html

I guess thats why its this kind of listing:

This is a private listing. Your identity will not be disclosed to anyone except the seller. If you are already bidding on this item, view your bidder status.

Doesnt want anyone to see who is bidding so they cant contact them and warn them of the bad craftsmanship.

Good point. And it's not like there isn't a lot of computer literate kids in Taiwan that can setup a website for him for next to nothing. yahoo email account lol.

I have been wanting to learn how to play the guitar - I am relatively musically adept - and recently I have been thinking about it more and more.

What's your budget? Cheap can be $50 or $500.

Ideally no more than $150. Obviously less is better.

Sorry, I don't know of any guitars on that budget, I've only been playing a year myself. What you need to look for is a guitar with solid tops but I don't know of any at that price range.

Would $200 cover that?

Is it too much to ask that someone who makes musical "intrusments" be able to spell instruments?

I Googled Takamine and they seem to have decent reviews and a fair price.

I'll do what I always do and recommend a Yamaha.

I found this Yamaha at amazon for $145.

Seems like a reasonable route for a beginner.

My friend just bought that for his daughter for Christmas... I didn't get a chance to play it, but he had a few other guitar players check it out and they all said it was decent.

I actually do have that guitar package. I bought it used off craigslist for $100 (I've seen it as low as $80), and it was in perfect condition with original protective wrapping. I'm a complete beginner, so I can't really say how it compares to other guitars, but I find it is a rather decent guitar in the few months I've been practicing on it. The action on mine was good (I believe it was around 3/32" on the 12th fret) and it's definitely something you can learn on. The bag that comes with has no padding at all, so it's not so useful for carrying it around. The tuner does its job, but I much prefer using a computer mic and AP Tuner. The DVD is very basic, but a good starting point, I suppose. The guitar strap is a bit annoying, because there is only one knob on the bottom of the guitar for it to fasten to; you have to tie the other end near the nut.

Lots of more seasoned guitar players would recommend getting a more expensive guitar with a solid top (the F325 is a laminate, as is pretty much all guitars in this price range), but as a beginner, I don't care for that in the slightest. And recognize that this guitar is not a cutaway, so if you get more advanced, that might be important for reaching the higher frets.
