I prefer to believe vaping is terrible health-wise, because reasons. And won't someone think of the children! We need to ban something, or multiple things even, to protect our children!Vaping is unhealthy.
There is not evidence to support the statement "almost" as bad as tobacco.
Claiming that vaping is "almost" as bad as cigarettes is like saying: I am "almost" as tall as the statue of liberty.
It's true, I am taller than most people , but, the statue of liberty is still a LOT LOT LOT taller than me.
A very significant portion of smokers die early due to their cigarettes.
One study WaPo wrote about, suggested as high as 2/3 of smokers get an early death from their cigarettes.

Vaping is unhealthy, but, it's not the statue of liberty of unhealth. It isn't killing poor huddled masses yearning to be free.
I quit smoking using patches, gum, and vaping. The trifecta to defeat cigarettes.I prefer to believe vaping is terrible health-wise, because reasons. And won't someone think of the children! We need to ban something, or multiple things even, to protect our children!
To be srs, I happen to think pretty well of it. It got me to stop smoking after 10 years, when cold turkey failed. I've also used a patch and had gum before and thought both were pretty lacking. So I don't think I would've been very successful with those, though it's possible.
I've actually bought maybe three packs of cigs since I quit, just cause I was kinda wanting to smoke an actual cig. I might've threw half a pack away but otherwise smoked all of them, usually over a several week period. Had no desire to go back to smoking though. After you've quit for a while, cigs smell like a man's dingleberry encrused pooper. But they can be enjoyable to smoke.I quit smoking using patches, gum, and vaping. I had a cigar memorial day and one on labor day, but, otherwise, no tobacco products or nicotine products at all.
I wasn't even intending to really quit, just vaping part time when it was more convenient than smoking, and over time cigarettes started to taste worse and worse.I've actually bought maybe three packs of cigs since I quit, just cause I was kinda wanting to smoke an actual cig.
