I have removed access to my images that I had created over the years for AT.
I have edited a few of my posts (one is a sticky on the Cases & Cooling) and will add a link to this post.

I can imagine how frustrating it can be when you are in charge and everyone comes to you complaining and whining about every other thing ....

At this point it has been allowed to take personal call names into saying that a father who hasn't seen his kids in many months is suggested to be an abusive father.

My kids stay out of this.

So i'll piggyback here and bid most of you a fond farewell, it's been fun.

i don't mind the personal names etc. but i do agree a persons children should get them banned.

Seriously though, I had asked questions on Anandtech and got responses that were helpful. I wanted to be a part of that community that contributes decently and respectfully. That is why I created those posts in my clumsy attempt to imitate the excellent posters we have here.

But, I do not feel I am part of a community at AT anymore since the very basic values I expect are missing. They are there in words. But, they are not taken into action evidently.

I hope AT becomes a place where one can send a youngster without worrying what nonsense he/she may read posted by senior members who are supposed to be helping. I know there are nasty places on the internet. I did not want Anandtech to be allowed to turn into one of those. I removed those posts to make this disagreement clear from any confusion. By the way, those posts are not a big deal. You are giving me too much credit by calling them tutorials.

While your kids should certainly be off limits, you brought a lot of that on yourself. You are a master instigator in P&N and are generally not interested in thoughtful discussion. When people have brought facts to the table, you turn up the acid.

I recommend that you (Anandtech or agent) copy the images and load them on an image hosting site in your account. Edit the posts such that the links point to the images in your account. Then, the posts will become independent of my images.

I will keep these images untouched until the end of the year 2008. After that, I may edit, resize, rename, or even delete them.

I know your pain man. To many people think they can write whatever they want and its ok because they have more then 2k post. A jerk with 2k post is still a jerk. Yesterday I posted under the peripherals section about OCZ nia device. Its a device that reads your brain waves and allows you to play video games without a keyboard or mouse. Personally I think its cool as heck and I bet many others would also. Today I decided just to make a second post under General Hardware saying that this device existed and if you think its cool take a look. I even stated im sorry I made a second post but I know that no one is goin to see it under peripherals forums. Well right after I wrote it someone with 5k post thought he would come in with his 2 sence on why it doesn't deserve to be placed in general hardware and blah blah blah. Basically he didn't have to write his response there was no reason for him to do so. I think it just made him feel more like a man to be able to complain about something I don't know. Either way if you don't like something just don't post just hit the little x in the corner and exit out of it. It really shows the type of person some people are. I seriously think some people have severe mental problems. I mean come on why get mad about someone writing a simple post. Why get mad when someone ask a simple question. Why get mad if someone miss spells something. If this kinda stuff sets them off then what kinda person are they in real life.

And I just wanna say that you can disagree with someone without being a jerk about it. You can have a discussion without getting mad. I think its fun to get into a heated discussion with 2 grown adults. A heated discussion that doesn't lead to name calling or putting anyone down. Just both people stating there case trying to convince the other. Its about being an adult. And if someone doesn't agree with you theirs no reason to put down there believes or ideas. Just agree to disagree gain more knowledge and try again later.

I really wish the ones that monitored this sight would be alot more strict with everyone. You have something negative to say about someone else or there idea or believes and you cant state it in an adult manner then ban them. Get rid of there childish ways. You get rid of the kids or people with sever mental problems this whole sight would run alot better and everyone would be alot happier.

I know I'm leaving myself wide open and people will get upset but I dont care. Go ahead and bash what I said. It will just further my example of what kinda people you really are. And I live by what goes around comes around. I just hope someone treats you as bad as you treat everyone else.

You can't change people, you can only change you. So the only option is to grow a thicker skin and learn to ignore certain comments.
