What is the point of waxing? It seems excessive to me. Maybe for a special date or something. It's only going to last marginally longer than if you use an electric bodygroom razor or similar.
An electric razor will not get as close as a manual razor. A manual razor only cuts the tops off the hair follicles, and leaves stubble. Wax lifts the hair follicles out from the root (and probably the top layer of dead skin) so not only do they take much longer to grow back, but there's no sharp stubble, and a much smoother effect.
Rogue you're pretty into this dude, you want in?

What EXACTLY do they wax on males? I would have thought it would just be the... shrubbery around the base of the tree, and not the coinpurse or anywhere else.</end quote></div>
Usually legs and chest, and sometimes the holy trinity of back, sack & crack.

I think I live a bit too far away for that. Besides, I'm not overly hairy and because I've got red hair, most of my body hair is light so you don't notice that much. I've been thinking about getting my hair cut, if that counts (it's about time - it's over two feet long...).

Man, need to read slower. We're talking about waxing and shaving pubes and you throw in something about your hair being over two feet long.

you CAN NOT compare shaving to waxing at all. especially in that region. There is such a difference it is amazing.
it is nowhere near the same feeling.

Ok, maybe your buddy wanting to get wax, just makes him stupid. You agreeing to go with him makes you ghey. You're going to be a bloody mess like Lorena Bobbit got done with you.

Yeah but it doesn't last that long, right? I don't know much about the waxing process but $100 seems like a lot if it only stays smooth for about a day or so. I can use the philips bodygroom and get "pretty smooth" on a daily basis and pay $0. For $100 it would need to be ludicrously smooth for at least a week. I just don't see the value in it. That's a lot of money.

that's still quite expensive.. heh.. but then again, I'm poor. and again, the thought of wax on the sac is just blisteringly painful.
