If you plan on actually eating the deer, which most hunters do (venison>>>>>beef), you do end up chopping them up. I see no problem with teaching the boy how to properly handle a deer after it has been killed.

Too bad you dont live in a city near me. They are asking for volunteers to use their back yards to lure deer in and shoot them. The shooting will be done by people hired by the city, but still...

How is killing a deer any more "horrible" than killing a farm animal? Was enslaving a free man any more "horrible" than breeding slaves on a plantation?
