4 years ago right before I started college. It was a brand new mountain bike from a neighborhood bike shop.
essentially, it's this company....but they are in MA and they do not sell cheap bikes.

Seven has some bikes of ours on their way, if not there already.
I think... We have shipped things to Seven Cycles, but im not sure exctly what it is... or where it was.

I believe they purchased them to sell, not tear apart... connections, remember that word
well...no....that is not how they operate.....you can buy directly from them, but most people just go to Landry's or something and buy it through them. You can't just gom buy it, and pick it up. You have to be fitted for it.
The pic was put up because she has purchased a PUBLIC Bike..I think he's suggesting that Seven bought some public bikes for them to sell right? As you stated that makes no sense whatsoever.
As far as his "connections" comment, I assume that he is implying that the founders/operators of Public have lots of industry connections and this is their "secret weapon" he has been more or less implying since day 1? I dunno. Yet again this seems like nothing new or innovative in any department to me. Niche bikes have been around forever and for every 1 that (relatively) makes it, 100 fail.
I also dont get what the pic of the girl has to do with it, but I thank him for it.
Then again, it seems like a weasely way to just bump the thread and draw more eyeballs to it. This thread has turned into nothing but an attempted shill for the company it seems?

I've seen some expensive bikes that looked really cool...unfortunately the bikes on this site aren't them. Maybe I'm missing something?
?? Where have you been? 2x10 is pretty much the standard now on bikes $1k+, with 2x11 not uncommon at higher prices.1-8spd? Like I said, it's cruiser bike. Also, more speed does not mean it's better. In fact, most people who get 24 speed bikes do not even use half of them. Also, lots of high end road bike are 16 speed, not 24 or 28.

The ride of the PUBLIC bike made me smile even in NYC traffic. The bike was surprisingly fast, and simultaneously confidence inspiring. Even I felt cool when riding PUBLICs D1.

Just depends on what you think is "cool"
Personally I really do like these bikes.
Amazing what you can get some people to say if you pay them enough, isn't it?

I still feel this thread has turned into nothing but a sales pitch.
Well, that's all it was from the start, wasn't it? The so-called "internship" is probably nothing more than a partner shilling his goods.....at least from the tone of the posts the OP has posted.
You're not the only one. I honestly feel this entire thread should be just deleted as being nothing more than a sales thread....which is prohibited by AT.
That's what I was thinking.
Doesn't seem to be about the internship so much.
