can't make it a personal blog to post what i did during the day (it'd be boring)
can't talk about the bikes and who has said what (we paid for that supposedly)
can't post pictures of women
can't post pictures of women on Public Bikes
can't talk about the press we have received
can't talk about the bikes
can't talk about the company

okay....

how about i post pictures of san fran, oakland, sonoma, all in this thread... (hint: these come with pictures of a Public Bike in them as well )

I haven't linked to the site since the first post, I have not personally suggested one to anyone directly, others have for me (thanks even if that was as jokes). I have not pushed, nor advertised pricing, or availability, I have however discussed the company, and some of our clientele that have been happy enough to share their purchases with the world.

I was in the fulfillment center.... I was warehouse manager... i sent out bikes... do you want me to tell you about the backend they used for orders? do you want me to tell you about how outrageously crazy it is to work at a brand new startup that was still attempting to put its feet in the water? Do you want me to state the amount of orders i sent out daily?

I went in, had 10 days of training... then became the warehouse manager... i had 3-5 people i was managing, standard of quality was checked every time an item went out... people were strict and wanting highest quality, it was difficult, FedEx is fun to work with...

what i learned is A&E

"Just going to learn anything and everything i can about what im going for.. "

From there on (and before) it was shilling.

My wife and I run a small business.
What I posted saying "Ask me anything you want about our business and experieces..."
And from there on out all I did was list products, prices, trade shows she was going to be at, news paper articles about the business etc etc.

my job description would be... warehouse manager, with many hats...

to tell you the truth, before i went out there i had no idea exactly what was to be expected of me... when i got out there, i learned that i would be responsible for implementing new ways of delivery daily as the company figured out how people wanted to receive there bikes....
new ways of test rides so that more people would see/ride the bikes...

trust me, i had so many different things be implemented upon myself... i was a small goldfish in a company full of some goldfish, and all the managers had been there/ done that... i learned so much and came back with a different view on how difficult it is to start a true company.

Sounds like you had a great internship for sure.

FWIW, I do like the bikes. Overpriced unquestionably, but just like Apple, there is a niche for that and there are bike-hipsters that will pay for it.

They were a bike shop that i remember sending about 5 bikes to for assembly... so that could have had something to do with it

More subliminal marketing for you... they have launched some new designs, and they look pretty damn good IMO... i have seen some similar, but none with the attention to detail...
