As I read these forums, I find it hard to believe that it seems most people are set on getting blood for what was lost. The US has preached for years that diplomacy should be used before military in situations like this, and though many times it has done little good, that (morally) should be the route that is taken. No, I'm not saying that the US should talk to the perpetrators and come to a fair punishment by asking them how they would like to be spanked. I'm saying that perhaps it should not be out of the question that the US will want to solve this problem peacefully, and try to set an example of how to deal with issues like this to others who would fire missles at first warning of danger.
Maybe I'm just a crazy Canadian, but I don't see why more people should die as a result of this - and I hope that once people's anger dies down most of you will feel the same.
