The CD Player part of the unit doesn't work, you can't see the display 75% of the time, and, it's a Jensen. I was going to replace it anyway, now I have a reason to.

No, the doors were unlocked. I have never locked my doors in front of my house for the 3 years i've been driving. Now is a good time to start.

Some new cars have the auto door lock feature. Very handy for lazy and careless people.

That is THE reason I don't want to put a nice HU in my car. I don't really care about the HU but don't break the windows and F'up the car.

we had some stuff stolen from our house over the summer while no one was there, then again over thanksgiving break while no one was there. the only thing of mine they took was my laptop, and that laptop was a p120 / 12mb ram / no hdd. i bet they were pissssssed.

on a side note, one of my roommates got his m4 rifle stolen, and it was recently recovered. not sure how they did it, but the cops caught the guys... apparently they used to live nearby. didnt know they actually followed through this much on stolen property like this.

Why ever lock your doors? If a crook wants your stuff they will get your stuff. You locking your doors only makes them break your window to get what they want costing you money because you have to replace a windiow or have body work because they popped the lock out of the door messing up the lock opening, paint, and the door. If you had locked the door you wouldnt be as happy as you are now.

I don't lock mine, but then again if someone wants to steal out of my '86 Toyota truck that's half made of wood, they can go for it. Nothing worth stealing in there cept my empties.

or it was a bunch of kids who saw an opportunity. crooks look for the easiest out.. no locked doors, easy to take. if not, move on to the next car.. unless you have some real valuable sh!t in there.

That's the most retarded reply I've ever fvcking seen. Whose to say some jackoff would have stolen it if the door was locked? Do you leave all your doors unlocked at your house and your car, just because you'd rather they not damage the frame of the door, but just haul off with all of your belongings?

Sure.

After owning a used car lot and sick of replacing side windows we learned our lesson. You will too if you decide to lock your doors when you get the new radio. A hopped up drug user givs no sh1t if your doors are locked or not. If they need a fix they will take your stuff. Its up to you if you want your car damged or not.

My college roommate never locked his doors, but he had a soft-top Wrangler. He said that if someone was going to break in, he'd rather them open the door than slash his soft-top.
