Didn't watch, saw the winners list this morning and I thought the winners were nicely chosen. Though there were some pretty good choices this year for various categories.

I liked the show overall, just way too much singing. Should have cut 20 minutes of the show tunes nonsense and had more MacFarlane. You can see how they start to cut his stuff because the show is going long, which always happens, but it just sucks because you lose some funny.

Yeah, she was fine as hell in SLP.

Who else thought the black singer was terrible? Good voice but atrocious mic handling; the vocal compressor was running so hard I was physically discomfited.

I actually loved the singing. It's usually just the orchestra and a very scripted run through of all the 'Best Song' nominations.

Sucks that they try so hard to adhere to the time limit. My cable box said the show was scheduled from 8:30 to 11:30, but it ended around 12:05, so it went half an hour over already. It is an absolute pleasure to stay up until 1am for this annual event -- think it was grade 8 when they had the marathon 1am one.

Yeah I wish they would just keep going. It's only once per year, who gives a crap if it runs long? People will still DVR the end and watch it in the morning if they don't want to stay up.
