I wish he went to any other team than the Warriors. Not that I don't like the Warriors, it's just we all know Nellie will ruin this kid like he did with Chris Weber and more recently Anthony Randolph.

I'm hoping the new owners boot Nellie and bring some real ball into the organization.

After being waved by the warriors, picked up and waived by houston, picked up by the knicks and spending time in the D-League lately, not having done much in the league yet, dude has suddenly been tearing it up for the Knicks these last couple games!

NEW YORK -- Jeremy Lin scored a career-high 28 points in his first career start, Steve Novak added a season-best 19, and the New York Knicks overcame the absence of Amare Stoudemire and early loss of Carmelo Anthony to beat the Utah Jazz 99-88 on Monday night.

Stoudemire left the team to join his family in Florida after older brother Hazell was killed there earlier Monday in a car crash, then Anthony left after just six minutes with a strained right groin.

Despite missing two All-Stars and using a lineup of second-teamers, the Knicks won their second straight thanks to another remarkable performance from Lin, the former Harvard point guard.

Al Jefferson scored 22 points in a disappointing effort for the Jazz in the opener of a brief two-game road trip.

I watched both games of hsi last two games. The guy has this quick step and uncanny ability to read the floor well. His dribble penetration is amazing, the Knicks have needed someone like this for a long time.

Finally gave the Asian a chance huh? Maybe it's still too soon to tell but based on the last 2 games, he seems to have been underestimated. I wonder what the Warriors are thinking right about now?

I've caught his story here and there over the last few years, I'm glad to see him getting some playing time! 28 points tonight...he can't sustain this performance, but if he finally figured something out and can average 10-15 a night, it should be really interesting.

"Magical" is right, like a fvcking Disney movie! LOL

I hope someone puts tonights game together as well. This is the first time I've seen, probably that he's had, that he's got the green light to attack first, then look for guys or create as he attacks. I've only seen him try to 'run' the offensive sets to get the ball into the hands of the shooters, but not have the confidence in his role to attack like that. Looks like the D-League did him some good, where he had a triple-double, and was able to fully make his own decisions, be selfish if he saw opportunities.

I love those ally-oops to Chandler...that's a quick way to get your teammates confidence in you. I also love the jump shots he hit when they went under the screen. Great execution taking advantage of what they gave, obviously trying to prevent his drives.

Got Wednesday vs. Wiz on the calendar, not going to miss it. Wall has been imploding this year...wtf, lol.

Tearing it up again...3-6 for only 6 points, but 8 assists already before halftime. He's really gelling this team with his timing and passes.

I've been following this guy via his YouTube channel thejlin7 since he first signed with Golden State. He tore it up at Harvard and the D-League with the Reno Bighorns. The problem is that he chose to join GSW as opposed to the Dallas Mavericks; he would have a ring by now because Dallas would have discovered his talent earlier than D'Antoni and the Knicks. Dallas has a 40 year old Kidd and a 5"10 J.J. Barea; they could have used Lin in place of Barea whenever Kidd needed a break. GSW also had Ellis and Curry in the PG position, so he never really got a chance to play.

D'Antoni phrased it beautifully when he said that he and his staff noticed Lin had an uncanny ability to drive at will, but they didn't know whether he could finish at the rim, shoot, or play defense. Had D'Antoni's job not been on the line and had he not been desperate for a competent PG, I think Lin would still be bench warming.

I'm hoping they guarantee his contract and pay him way more than the 800K/year he's currently getting. If Le(no 4th quarter)Brick James is getting 8 million a year, Lin deserves at least a quarter of that if not more.
