Faiiiil. They have pushed the release back again ? I've avoided playing on console and was expecting it next week.

Almost bought my cousins PS3 and the game,he had sellers remorse and i only wanted the PS3 for that game.

I will tell you GTA5 is gonna be fun,my cousin got his account to the point where he had a tank in multi-player.I was in the offline mode destroying cops in pursuit of me in my tank and its beyond incredible.

The cars that end up being indestructible are the most fun,i was on top of the tallest buildings just attempting to destroy these cars and you get no where..a buddy of mine somehow managed to pop off a wheel so your racing down the highway at like 100+ with one front wheel messing. Its beyond madness, its sparta!

If you got the cash and really are wanting to play this, give the console version a try.You honestly are gonna have a blast.

Really,Rockstar Games?

PC version of GTA V delayed until April 14th.

Getting really annoyed with the constant delays.

Wish they'd just release the PC version already.

Let them delay it. Better to delay a third time than to release another GTA-IV tier mess.

This is going to be as broken as AC:Unity. AAA gaming is just rubbish these days. Rockstar made billions off GTA V and they still can't release the port faster for nearly 2yrs. They have the resources, they have the programmers, they have had way too much time pffft. Fail. Extra time to cram more retarded social club DRM more like.

I'd rather they release it now than keep perpetually delaying it. You'd think they'd have a working build by now, even with whatever crap they want to add. Unless the GTA 5 PC team has had their thumbs in their asses for the past 1.5 years...

Kinda like the online heists with the console versions. Then again I don't do GTA multiplayer so I didn't care about those.

The sooner they release it, the sooner it gets down to $10... I've been spoiled by Steam sales

So how many delays does it take to get a Gameworks game to be fully working on a PC?

LOL i knew the bump in this thread was for YET another delay.Previously we were a month out but the only thing worthy of a thread bump is news of another delay.:awe:

Gave some thought to a pre-order,thinking that was a wise choice not to.By the time this damn game comes out, they mind as well price this thing at $40 as a apology.Games certainly old enough for a discount by now wouldn't someone think?

Why people believe PreOrdering is EVER a good thing is hilarious.

You're paying for a product you don't even own yet, that can be delayed as long as they desire.

Consumers must have some type of mental deficiency that allows us to continually be abused by companies over and over again and not only enjoy it, but beg for more of the same abuse.

People complaining about delays are f'ing idiots. We're lucky to get games that actually work on release, you seriously want them to push it out quickly? Like you don't have 100's of other games to play/things to do. First world problems.

It doesn't take an experienced cashed up company 1.5yrs+ to release a port of a game that they have already fiddled with twice on cemetery gen and obsolete gen.

Been a long wait, its not like we have waited a few months.Games like BC2 came out, then got replaced by BF3 in about nearly the same time frame as this port has taken to be released.

Games+sequels to other games may have come out, about 50 COD games have come out since i think.

You don't know it will work on release, the PC is a second or even third rate platform at this point, so they have little incentive to put any meaningful resources behind the port. I'd like to think even a skeleton crew would have a decent port at this point, but probably not.

Why should Rockstar get a pass when countless other studios can release working PC ports at roughly the same time as the console versions?

Because they don't have the same feature set. GTAIV had a number of crucial features that made it better than the console versions - traffic density and clip capture being two great additions.

The delay is frustrating though, but they may be adding a few more tweaks - the PC version of GTA is always the "proper" GTA as in it has the most features.

Having let out some steam after reading about the delay I settled down and I'm now okay with this short delay.

But reading this got me worried:
"As always, we ask for the GTA PC community’s understanding and assistance in helping to report any concerns during the early days of launch when those inevitable initial teething issues arise on the new platform."

That doesn't really sound polished and finished to me. In fact, it sounds like they expect us to treat it like a beta release and do bug testing. And that's after more than one year plus a couple of delays. Wow!

Just wait until the winter sale at the end of the year, by then the game would have been updated to an acceptable standard, drivers would be optimized and best off all you get a nice discount off that ridiculous $70 price tag.

Its quite obvious what the delay is for, the game was designed for PS3/Xbox and their engine must be in a mangled mess when trying to port it over. They got the new consoles to run it but at a garbage 30fps, its quite obvious they are afraid of the blow back if its like an AC:Unity situation, they are charging $70 and I 100% guarantee you DLC is coming for the winter holidays.

so if I were rockstar, racing against time, I'd probably delay it until a stable release is finalized. The problem with PC gamers is the whole Assiassin's Creed Unity fiasco: people complained about how broken it was and finally decided not to buy it at all. Rockstar is just avoiding to be another Ubisoft.

Though on consoles, it was still buggy to shit, at least it was playable on the consoles, not the cluster-crap on the PC!

I got 25% off from GMG for pre-ordering so I did that. I don't really care when it's released, so long as it is eventually. I'm sure the game will be fun, I really enjoyed 4, and 5 only got good buzz on consoles. There are more then enough games out there to play to occupy myself while I wait.

How does this game use 65gb? I have never seen a game use that much disk space. Also, those minimum specs are funny. Either a 9800GT or an HD4870, pretty sure the 4870 is still faster than a 9800GX2 (two 9800gt's for you young whippersnappers). Just seems odd to have two vastly different cards be the minimum.

Also, I own GTA V for Xbox 360, so im a little disappointed that I have to buy it twice

It's an absolutely massive, ridiculously detailed open-world game that cost $300 million to make.

Considering there are much-less complex games coming out these days that still consume upwards of 50GB of space, it does not surprise me at all that GTA 5 requires over 60GB.
