I loved her since i was a little girl... even if her movies were silly... still she was like an idol to me. a mistreated little girl with a dream... who got used and crapped on by everyone... and still tried to be successful. and she was gorgeous and despite her silly movies, she was sooo talented. if you look at movies like Niagara and Dont Bother to Knock you can see her talent... and she had a great voice.

And despite her failed marriages... she and Joe remained friends until the say she died, and even though he was abuived/jealous during their married, she adored her and turned out to be the only person in her life she could count on.

I agree... I think all jayne mansfielf had was boobs. my opinion. and she just happened to be another one of the big boobed actresses hollywood tried to promote after marilyn walked ...

it is a shame how she died though.... car got hit by a truck.

I had a discussion very similar to this at my store once. I work in a game store (board/card games, not video games) and there is a triva game about myths. One myth was "Did Monroe wear a size 14 dress?".

A couple guys came in and read the question, one of them exclaimed "DUDE a 14 IS FAAAAT". That prompted me and my co-worker(female) to look at eachother and then back at the dude. My co-worker starts a dialog with the customer:

Plugging the numbers in here shows a value of 23.3 for her. "Normal Weight" is 18.5-24.9. To be "overweight" you need to have 25 or higher.

So, she was not overweight even by 'modern' standards.
