Anyone here own a duck? Any advice?

My roommate and I were just going to get some groceries and we saw a sign saying "Ducks and Chicks." So naturally, we bought him, because who can pass up a 6 dollar duck?

There's a small problem with your logic there....there wont be baby ducks in the eggs, they're unfertilized. I'd have to get another duck and one would have to be a female. I'm not sure if this is a male or female.

Ya we thought of it. The lady at the store told us they're a mess. We have a big bucket as his cage and im thinking of making an elevated base made of small chicken wire, so all the poop and mess falls through onto newspaper.

I live in an apartment just off campus in San Luis Obispo, CA. No pets allowed i dont think...but its a duck for fucks sake!
