Could be a Pekin duck, could be a Call duck. Both look much like each other.....calls are smaller, about the only noticable difference.
Link to breeds of ducks, starting with Call ducks.
We've got three Call/Pekin mix ducks. And while they are quite a bunch of characters, qutie funny, I cannot imagine having them live in the house.
Why? Ducks poop everywhere ALL the time. They poop while they're waling, poop while they're eating, poop while they're breathing.....just poop everywhere, all the time. And it reeks if not cleaned up immediately.
Ours are pen-kept during the night (a 25' x 30' pen) and allowed to range the property during the day. The mostly keep to the pen, though.....that's where their "pond" is, a kid's 6' wading pool. I empty it daily, hose it out and refill. They go wild with bathing as soon as the pool is filled half-full and continue for an hour or so, playing in the water....and they also immediately poop the water brown during this.
For food, we started them off on Purina Start and Grow feed. Commerical blend of fowl food, medicated to help the bird grow its immune system and fend off diseases while it develops. At around 5 months of age, age of maturity for ducks, we switched them to Layena feed by Puringa.
Why the commerical stuff? Well, cracked corn is great, but rather lacking in complete nutrition for fowl....can be used successfully as long as the bird has access to outdoors all the time to source other sources of protein (grubs, insects, etc.)
We chose the Purina stuff because, unlike other cheaper feeds, Purina uses no animal/bird byproducts in making the feed.....all vegetable based.....and a host of added nutrients, like extra calcium, Vit. D, manganese, etc.
Did I mention they poop.....a lot? Get ready to deal with the proverbial shit storm. It is coming!
Good luck with the duck in the apartment, although I really don't think it's suited to living like that, and you'll give it up pretty quickly.....noise, poop patrol all the time, the duck will try to "eat" anything it can put its bill on.
