I use Dolphin, and my biggest pet peeve is embedded videos. They simply do not play as smoothly and reliably in the browser as they do in the YouTube app. Is there any way to force all YouTube videos to play in the YT app or another external player app? Facebook links and Twitter links always open the default web browser as well. At least G+ does it right.

edit: Should include something positive . Twilight is a great app for using your phone at night, making it easier on the eyes and less likely to keep you awake with blue light.

from chrome, tapping the title of an embedded yt video launches it in the yt app.

Clean master, accuweather, hotspot shield are the ones I use the most. The one I like the most at the moment is AnTuTU. I like to show off my scores (currently at 38k)

Some Apps I dig:

Zedge (Wallpapers, ringtones, etc.)

OpenMic+ (Moto X like Google Voice assist)

AppLock with Advanced Protection (Extra layer never hurts)

Dolphin Browser with Jetpack (In Desktop mode)

Opera Mini (For those slow areas)

Floating YouTube Player

Google Music, Drive, Voice, Hangouts, Camera and such.

Key Ring

LucyPhone

NavFree USA

Waze

Hola or Opera Max (For slow areas or to save Bandwidth.)

For my rooted Nexus 4:

SuperSU Pro

GooManager (For TWRP updates)

LTE Modem Flasher

Franco Kernel

Nexus Display Control

Greenify with Xposed Module perks

Non Playstore:

Viper (One of the best ways to improve phone audio): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223

Qualcomm-optimized Dalvik & Bionic libraries: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/4-4-4-4-x-qualcomm-optimized-dalvik-t2546120

May Qualcomm Adreno GPU binaries: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/qualcomm-adreno-gpu-binaries-t2667759

Xposed Module: http://repo.xposed.info/

Modules:

XVoice+ <-- Let's you use any text program with G-Voice online sms. (Must have G-Voice app)

BootManager (Disable startup apps you don't need)

HideBatteryLowAlert (No more annoying popups)

DisableCriticalBatteryShutdown (Get a little more mileage out of your phone. Don't full drain all the time. Maybe 2-3 times a Month.)

Post more later.

If you have a Note or other pen-enabled tablet, Lecture Notes is pretty awesome. Very helpful trial version too.

Picked up an android phone, finally. Previously I"ve stuck with iOS and Windows Phone 8. But...Republic Wireless's service is just so enticing that I had to finally relent.

Anyways, the big things I'm looking for right now are a good offline GPS and a good music player. Offline GPS kind of important...now previously I've really loved Garmin GPS units, so if anything could resemble the performance of that, that would be awesome.

Stickied for a while since it's of general interest

Anyone use Keepass? I like it, opensource and can be installed on all the flavors.

Anyone use something other? Better?
