So what are the symptoms of not enough power?

What should I be on the lookout for in terms of running too many devices? I've just put together some upgrades, so I'm not sure what's causing problems right now... occasionally, while playing a game, my system will just give up and reset itself, and more often than that, I'll temporarily lose my vido signal. But none of that happens all that much... are there any other symptoms?

I've got an Elight 7237 (250W), and in it, there's:
- motherboard
- celeron566->876 (1.8v) w/ Golden Orb
- Geforce2 GTS (205/365)
- 2 x 80mm fans
- 1 x radioshack blower
- 2 x IBM 7200rpm 10.1GB HD
- 1 x Maxtor 7200rpm 20GB HD
- 1 x IDE CDROM
- 1 x 3.5" floppy
- Bunch of USB stuff

Well, the Enlight 7237 comes with 250 or 300 watt power supplies and you didn't mention which you have....anyways, as a possibility I'd suggest checking your cpu heatsink attachment carefully. I was having similar issues on a Celly II 566@850 and lo and behold I had a little tilt on the heatsink. Damn thing was only making contact to half the cpu. Crashes stopped when I addressed that.

Spontaneous reboots, and loss of video signal on AGP cards are symptoms of not a powerful enough power supply, and you deffinately have a lot of stuff drawing current. I would download motherboard monitor, and just watch your voltage fluctuations, they shouldn't change much when you do normal tasks. Also make sure that you aren't overheating, as that will cause BSOD and sponatanious reboots. Another thought that I had was perhaps your mobo has the AGP set to bus speed instead of 2/3 of bus speed, and maybe the geForce can't deal, especially if it is overclocked itself. Good luck.

You have a lot of hard drives and a video card that pulls a lot of juice. Pickup a new 300 watt supply for $50. Even if your system will run with your powersupply you can damage equipment by not supplying enough power.. power sags(running with low power) are bad.
